Dutch Oven Desserts, Beach, Bocce Balls and friends- What a great Memorial Day! Some friends mentioned they wanted to do some dutch oven cooking on Memorial Day. Nate and I were so excited since we received a dutch oven for our wedding but as of yet have never had a reason to pull it out and use it.
On Memorial Day we went to Half Moon Bay to spend some time on the beach playing games and to cook our dutch oven desserts. We even went gourmet. We had Apple Crisp and Mississippi Mud Pie, not just the traditional cobbler.
To top things off, we played Bocce Ball. After a fun filled day we decided we need more Holidays from work.
