Brotherly Love

I love this picture! Maybe it's because it is one of the rare peaceful moments when Preston isn't being a bit naughty towards Wade.

Habitot

A few weekends ago we had a fun Saturday morning exploring Habitot, a children's museum in Berkeley, with a few friends. It was so much fun. We went there for Preston's first birthday and we had a good time but it was so much more fun this time. I think Preston was just a tad too young before but really got into all the activities this time.

Toe Grabber

Almost a month ago Wade started grabbing his toes. I LOVE watching babies roll around holding onto their toes. I think it is just the cutest thing. We seriously love this kid.

Color Run

Shortly after returning from Boise I was signed up to run San Francisco's Color Run. It's only a 5k and let's be serious - not a serious one at all. I hadn't even tried to train because I was signed up with three other girls, two of which had just had babies about 5 and 7 weeks before. I figured we wouldn't really be doing any running. Surprisingly I was wrong. These girls were super stars and we ended up running about 3.5k of it. It was so much fun! It was a bit crazy logistically for us nursing mommas but Wade was a champ and was pleasant for Nate despite being stretched a bit between feedings. Nate was the only husband willing to brave bringing the two kids into the city to watch the event. Preston LOVED it and still talks about when mom was covered in colors. The color run is adding cities like crazy to its line up as it is getting more and more popular. Check out their website!

Returning Home

We were sad to leave family and friends in Idaho but also excited to be back home. Preston missed the park behind our house and couldn't wait to run through the fountains. He loves that park. Wade and Preston both had growth spurts while we were in Boise. How do we know? Wade no longer fit in the clothes we took with us. As for Preston - before we left for Boise Preston was too short to reach the light switches to turn the lights on. When we got home he was able to reach the light switches without a problem. He was SO excited when he discovered this. His growth spurt also meant he could ride his bike so much easier. Now he loves to go on a bike ride. Hooray! Rather than taking his bike to the park and pushing it around he prefers to ride it around. He actually asks to ride his bike now too. Finally.
